Should unrestricted free agent Ryan White be sought after by the Jets to replace Chris Thorburn as their enforcer?
A good case is made by Aaron Schmidtke at The Hockey Writers, that White, who is younger, and produces more, should be what GM Kevin Cheveldayoff ought to be looking for.
White, who is 29 years of age, 6'0, 200 lbs, scored a career-high 16 points, including 11 goals in the 2015-2016 season with Philadelphia. Before that he languished a bit in the American Hockey League while a member of both the Flyers and the Montreal Canadiens.
Last season, he matched that output with both the Minnesota Wild and Arizona Coyotes.
Should Chevy pull the trigger?
