Although discipline was once again a problem for the Winnipeg Jets, and it could have easily haunted them, but their defensive core took all the Anaheim Ducks could throw at them and kept the damage to a minimum, as the Jets beat the Ducks 4-1 to remain on a seemingly season-long roll.
Nikolaj Ehlers was the star tonight, as he scored twice to give the Jets and early 1-0 lead before potting his second in just over four minutes later. An earlier goal that was called back eight seconds in, may have been a foreshadowing of things to come, as the Jets were buzzing around Ducks goalie John Gibson.
Ehlers added an assist and collected three points, as did Bryan Little with a goal and two assists.
Connor Hellebuyck mad 30 saves to move his record to 12-2-2.
