Five Reasons Why The Winnipeg Jets Will Win The Stanley Cup Before 2022

Five years away?  Maybe.  I doubt it, but maybe.  I believe the Jets have the skill to do it.  Skill that is only going to develop and get better.  We need a goalie.  Maybe a top six defenseman, but the writing is on the wall.  They're on their way to greener pastures (hopefully silver ones)

Back in May, 2015, The Hockey Writers, released an article claiming the Jets will win the Stanley Cup in 2020.  Not to be outdone, Ken Campbell of The Hockey News penned his own opinion piece in July, 2015, saying the Jets will win Lord Stanley's chalice a year earlier, in 2019.

Now, either way, I can dive into a full-on belief system about the Jets reigning the NHL in two or three short seasons.  The problem with that is, is it feasible?  Can the consistently inconsistent Jets find a savior goalie and the right mix of veterans and skillful rookies or sophomore players that can find that special "gel" that makes up a championship hockey team?  Eventually.  I have no doubt about it.  But within the next two years?  I'm erring on the side of caution (and the odds) and saying, I heavily doubt it.

It would be awesome, but not quite yet.
