Winnipeg Jets 2015 sixth-round draft pick, Mason Appleton, has decided to forgo his third year of university at Michigan State to begin his professional hockey career and sign a three-year, two-way, entry-level deal with the Jets.
In his two years as a Spartan, he has compiled 72 goals, 36 assists for 53 points in 72 games. That's a goal-a-game guy. Not bad.
