Jets Reclaim First In Central With Win Over Sabres

The Winnipeg Jets made the game closer for themselves than they had to, but they managed to stave off the Buffalo Sabres 4-3 at the Bell MTS Centre tonight.

Opening the scoring was Dustin Byfuglien, with his first goal of the season, on the power-play.  After the Sabres tied it up about two minutes later, Jacob Trouba re-gained the lead with his third.  Rounding out the scoring for Winnipeg was Blake Wheeler on the power-play with his 14th, and Bryan Little with the eventual game winner in the third period, with his 8th.

Connor Hellebuyck got his 22nd win, making 26 saves, and the Jets penalty-kill was firing on all cylinders, as the Sabres went 0-5 on the power-play.
